Abstract
Este trabajo defiende la tesis de que el pensamiento político de Spinoza se inscribe en la línea del realismo político, oponiéndose a la imaginación quimérica o a la utópica. Además se sostiene que Spinoza, desde un pensamiento inmanente a este mundo, ha proporcionado los fundamentos filosóficos del realismo político que han estado ausentes en los autores de esta corriente política durante el siglo XX.
