The current issue of Revista Enfoques brings together research on gender, political history, and public policy evaluation in Latin America. It addresses topics ranging from the impacts of female quota laws on the legislatures of northeastern Argentina, and the relationship between the Franciscans and the Chilean Conservative Party between 1890 and 1935, to the evaluation of municipal public policies and programmes in the municipalities of Michoacán, Mexico.
