The current issue of Revista Enfoques brings together research on public ethics, data policies, and tax administration in Latin America. It addresses topics ranging from the erosion of public virtues and the risks of individualism in Tocqueville, and ethical controversies surrounding the collection of biometric data in Costa Rica, to gross‑revenue taxation in the province of Santa Cruz, Argentina, with estimates and forecasts based on time‑series models. In addition, it includes reviews of recent works on theories of justice and on trends that are expected to transform Chile.
