The current issue of Revista Enfoques brings together research on public administration, political leadership, and social transformations in Chile and Latin America. It addresses topics ranging from needs-based programming in public expenditure and the challenges posed by the Karin Law in relation to workplace harassment, to extractivism in the Brazilian Amazon and the presidential leadership of Sebastián Piñera between 2018 and 2022. It also examines Chilean health policy in a context of geopolitical competition and the digital transformation of the state and its implications for human capital in municipalities of the Metropolitan Region. In addition, it includes reviews of recent works that analyse the history and background of the social uprising in Chile.
