Extractivismo en la Amazonía brasileña: variaciones en el discurso del presidente Jair Bolsonaro entre los años 2018 y 2022

Abstract
En las últimas décadas ha habido una creciente preocupación por el medio ambiente y por el cuidado de los ecosistemas. En tal contexto, el caso de la Amazonía brasileña ha cobrado especial relevancia, dada su exuberante e imponente diversidad biológica, de modo que se puede observar un aumento en la preocupación concerniente a la promoción de prácticas extractivistas en esa región. El presente artículo explora la retórica del mandatario brasileño Jair Messias Bolsonaro, a través de sus discursos pronunciados sobre la explotación de territorio amazónico en las dimensiones soberanía, relación con las comunidades indígenas y extractivismo, revelando una variación en su inicial discurso extractivista tendiente a la explotación de la Amazonía, hacía un discurso de desarrollo sostenible que aboga por el cumplimiento de los acuerdos realizados en materia ambiental.
